Privacy statement
This statement covers the website placesbuilder.com. The online service at placesbuilder.online has its own privacy statement.
Who is responsible
This website is run by ralpheckhard.com, a sole proprietorship of Ralph Eckhard, Westerwerf 3F, 1911 JA Uitgeest, the Netherlands (chamber of commerce 78690277, VAT NL003372112B37). Contact: ralph@ralpheckhard.com.
What this website does with your data
This website is a set of static pages.
- It does not use cookies. The light/dark switch stores your choice in your browser only.
- It does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
- It does not load scripts, fonts or images from other websites.
- It has no forms that send data to us. The admin approval page has a field for your organisation’s domain; it is used only in your browser to build a link to Microsoft and is not sent to us.
The website is hosted on Microsoft Azure (Azure Static Web Apps). Like any web server, the hosting platform processes technical data when you open a page, such as your IP address, the page you asked for and the time. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not use this data to identify you.
A check that runs at every change to this site fails the build when a page loads a script, style, font, image or frame from another website. The hosting resource is in the region West Europe; Azure Static Web Apps serves static content through Microsoft’s global network, so pages can be delivered from outside the Netherlands.
Links to other websites
The site links to GitHub (the source code and issues) and to the online service. Those have their own privacy statements. If you open an issue on GitHub, what you write there is public.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what data is held about you, ask for correction or deletion, and object to processing. Because this website does not collect personal data itself, there is normally nothing to give or delete. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
